More screenings for "The Hamster King"
We are very happy to announce that "The Hamster King" will be part of this year's Salento International Film Festival.
The Salento International Film Festival Is a celebration of films and filmmakers, promotes international independent films, in recognition of the fact that movies are the most powerful form of cultural communication and link between cultures' and peoples'.
Since 2004 the spellbinding scenery of Tricase, in the South of Salento, has provided the backdrop for the Salento International Film Festival, during which independent cinema becomes the absolute protagonist for an entire week.
It represents a one-off opportunity to experience the challenge between national and international movie productions on the role of the movie industry as a means of cultural exchange among people from around the world.
Promoting young talents by fostering new forms of film production is the goal of Salento International Film Festival. A well-selected shortlist of films in competition, among which feature and short films as well as documentaries, draws every year the crowds into the exceptional venue of Palazzo Gallone.
The Salento International Film Festival is now an international event thanks to its “traveling” show concept: staring from Prince Charles Cinema in London, 2010, the SIFF World Tour brought many independent movies in world cities, like Zurich, Moscow, Saint Petersburgh, Hong Kong, Santiago and Yerevan.
